The Storm

Synopsis:

The story takes place around the 80’s in the land of Ca Mau during the subsidy period. BANG is an orphan young man picked up by his fosterfather in a big storm. He does all sorts of things to earn a living and growing up without knowing where his hometown is. After serving an unjust prison sentence of 3 years due to taking responsibility for his father-in-law because of his company’s loss of money and being abandoned by his wife, BANG determines on returning to his hometown (as being revealed by his fosterfather) to find his roots in the hope of rebuilding his life.

Returning to his hometown in Ca Mau with only a boat that he could afford with the money from selling his house in the city, BANG faced many difficulties when making a living in the new land. He was bullied and fooled by a group of bad people like BA MAP, LAO ROM and the others. This made him encounter many ups and downs in life.
