At the press conference announcing the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV), the Organizing Committee revealed that this year's festival will feature 102 films with 200 screenings at various cinema complexes across the city, promising to deliver a rich tapestry of culture, language, and contemporary cinematic trends from the region. The Asian In-Competition Film category this year includes 13 works from 11 countries and territories, reflecting the cultural and social diversity as well as the contemporary filmmaking trends of the region.

Assessing the growth of DANAFF after three editions, director and People's Artist Tran Luc, a jury member for the Vietnamese In-Competition Film category, shared: "This is the fourth time the festival is being held, and right from its inaugural edition, the organization has been highly structured, from the film selection process to the composition of the organizing committees. The award-winning films at this festival truly hold great artistic and real-life value. I find this year's edition to be even more professional and well-rounded. For instance, in addition to film screenings and evaluations, there will be workshops dedicated to art enthusiasts, film producers, and screenwriters. Those in charge of these segments are highly reputable figures, and the festival has invited prestigious experts from abroad."

DANAFF IV will also host three major seminars focusing on the following topics: The face of Vietnamese cinema during the Doi Moi Era; Digital technology, A.I., and intellectual property rights protection in filmmaking; alongside insights from the U.S. film industry model to suggest development paths for Vietnam. Another novel feature of DANAFF IV is the DANAFF Industry Days - a film industry networking platform that brings together international producers, distributors, and partners to expand opportunities for cooperation, investment, and bringing Vietnamese films to the global market.
