In 2026, the Genre Film Projects under the Workshop & Project Market returns with a brand-new format: Script Lab - an initiative created to meet the rising demand for high-quality, production-ready screenplays. The program targets feature film screenwriters looking to advance their projects closer to the production stage, and is exclusively open to Vietnamese projects. Notably, the 2026 edition will feature the collaboration of Columbia University (USA) and Autumn Meeting.
Following a 10-day course in Da Nang, the writers will pitch their scripts to a prestigious international panel and have the opportunity for direct investment matchmaking, engaging in 1-on-1 meetings with potential producers and investors to bring their projects from page to silver screen.
