She also previously served as the Vice Chairperson of the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) from 2022 to January 2025.

Throughout her producing career, Professor Kim Seonah has been involved in numerous prominent South Korean films, including One Day (2017), Rikidozan (2004), Save the Green Planet! (2003), One Fine Spring Day (2001), Phantom: The Submarine (1999), Motel Cactus (1997), Final Blow (1996), and Millions in My Account (1995).

Notably, she produced the virtual reality film Bloodless (2017), which won the Best VR Story award in the Venice VR Competition category at the Venice International Film Festival.

Parallel to her film production activities, Kim Seonah is actively involved in film research and policy planning, promoting gender equality in the creative industries, and conducting research on new media in South Korea.

Professor Kim Seonah’s presence as a jury member at this year's DANAFF IV will bring deep, multi-dimensional professional insights while further expanding the cinematic connections between Vietnam, South Korea, and the wider Asian region.
