Nhot Must Marry

Synopsis

Nhot is a 39-year-old girl, unmarried and a petty thief. Her mother died in an accident. She lives with her father, Mr. Xin, an alcoholic in a poor working-class neighborhood. Even though the twowere rough with each other, their boundless love won the sympathy and help of the neighbors. Thanks to that, Nhot met the husband she wanted.

Director’s biography

Vu Ngoc Dang was born in 1974, in Thai Binh. He studied at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema. He is the director of many movies such as Beautiful in each centimeter, Lost in Paradise, Dad, I’m sorry… In 2023, he directed two movies Sisters Sisters 2 and Nhot must marry. Among them, the movie Nhot must marryreceived the Siver Kite of theVietnamese Cinema Association and the Jury Award at the 23^rd Vietnam National Film Festival.
