Synopsis

After a Vietnamese woman dies in a traffic accident in Saigon, her brother-in-law and her younger son transport her body back to the former hometown in rural Vietnam where they plan to give her a funeral.

Director’s biography

Pham Thien An is a film director, producer and screenwriter, born in 1989 in Vietnam. After studying Information Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, he realized his interest in cinematography and filmmaking. His short film The Mute has travelled across several film festivals worldwide.
