Synopsis
Madam Bua’s Carpet tells of mundane days in the life of numerous fates in a small neighborhood at the foot of Ngu Hanh Son Mountain. The small hamlet consists of women who once sacrificed their youth for the survival of the country; after peace was restored, they returned together, sharing hard-earned food and happy smiles after a day of making a living, all the while struggling with the pain left from the war… Their lives go on, just like that, and the pain eventually subsides, for they no longer have to live in the shadow of the war, of revenge brutality, of fatal tortures, walking the line between life and death.
