A Destined Encounter

Synopsis

A Destined Encounter tells about the life of Gia Phuc, who grew up in an orphanage and hated his mother because he thought he was abandoned. One time he accidentally traveled back to the past, he accidentally met and became friends with his mother. During this journey as a friend, he witnessed all of his mother’s youth as well as the process of her being pregnant, giving birth to him, and sacrificing so he could live. He woke up in the present and was determined to change and live a life worthy of his mother’s sacrifice.

Director’s biography

Director Nhat Trung was born in 1979, in Dong Thap province. He is the director of numerous notable movies such as 49 Days I, 49 Days II, Win My Baby Back, Yin and Yang Eyes, 1990, A Destined Encounter… Among them Win My Baby Backwon Silver Lotus and Best Scipt at the 21^st Vietnam Film Festival in 2019.
