Born in 1976, Jalil Lespert is a French actor, screenwriter and director. He is known as one of the best actors of his generation. He made his breakthrough in 1999 with a major role in Jacques Maillot’s Our Happy Lives and followed up with a notable performance in Human Resources, for which he received a César Award for Most Promising Actor in 2001. In 2007, Lespert made his directorial debut with 24 mesures, featuring Benoît Magimel and Sami Bouajila. His second directorial work, Headwinds (2011), starred Magimel, Audrey Tautou, and Isabelle Carré.
