Synopsis

The massacre carried out by the American Army against the civilian population of My Lai left 500 dead and two survivors, Nam and Lien, aged 5 and 3 at the time. Today they both work at the My Lai Museum, Nam as a janitor, Lien as a cleaner. Every day, Lien cleans the artifacts that evoke the nightmare of a time long past. Nam let us in on a secret: when he is on night patrol, he often sees apparitionslingering about the cemetery and gardens of the Museum;but he has no fear, for he they are all relatives and neighbours. This is his way of living with that past.
