Synopsis

The documentary The Road to Peace shows viewers a part of the Phong Nhi village massacre case making its way to the Korean court. The film closely follows the special case of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh – one of the few victims who survived the massacre by the Korean army in Phong Nhi village.

Dirertor’s Biography

Documentary director Doan Hong Le is currently working at the Vietnam Television Center in the Central Region, running the Varan workshop project in Da Nang since 2010. Her films focus on issues of war and post-war. Her works include Father’s Last Words, Whom The Land Belongs To, The Mother, Remember You Are Alive, So Close Yet So Far From the Forest of Our Ancestors…
