Blood Moon Party

Synopsis
“Blood Moon Party” revolves around seven long-time friends who work in different occupations: a plastic surgeon, a psychologist, a journalist, a housewife, a teacher, a restaurant owner, and a veterinarian. The group of friends reunites at a housewarming party. They decide to play a dangerous game: Sharing the content of every text message, email, and phone call they receive. Throughout the course of the dinner, many secrets start to unveil, and the equilibrium trembles.
Director’s biography:
Born in 1978, Nguyen Quang Dung graduated from Ho Chi Minh city’s Film and Theater college’s first Directing class. Nguyen Quang Dung directed his first theatrical feature in 2005, Hon Truong Ba Da Hang Thit (2005). After that, he made five big hits movies back to back – Nu Hon Than Chet (2008), its sequel Giai Cuu Than Chet (2009), Nhung Nu Hon Ruc Ro (2010) – the first Vietnamese commercial musical, My Nhan Ke (2013) – the first Vietnamese 3D kung fu movie, and Thang Nam Ruc Ro (2018). These movies all top box-office at release time. Not only successful in film-making, Nguyen Quang Dung is also well-known as a music show producer, television game-show director, Vietnam’s Idol judge, music composer, and magazine columnist.
