Synopsis
After a night of singing for her cousin Ellie, Thach Thao grabbed the attention of Son – a music producer. Impressed by her talent, Son
and his wife extended an enticing recording invitation to Thach Thao, which propelled her to fame. As she continued to flourish like
a radiant flower, attracting the admiration of many, including Son, his powerful wife grew wary and devised a plan to address the
situation. As Thach Thao finds herself the object of affection and becomes entangled in a web of frivolous love, she wonders where
her true path lies. Will this blossoming flower “bloom early and fade quickly,” or is there more to her story than meets the eye? The
truth behind her journey remains a mystery.
Director’s biography
Mai Thu Huyen is a film producer, director, and actress, born in 1979 in Hanoi. As a director, Her directorial
portfolio includes two notable movies, Kieu and Fragile Flower. Specifically, Kieu won 3 awards: Best Music
Award at the Golden Kite Awards 2020, Award B for Best Feature Film from the Cinema Association of Ho Chi
Minh City and an international award from the 7th Asian World Film Festival in USA.
