Mai Tai Phen (born in 1991 in Bac Lieu Province) is a Vietnamese actor and filmmaker. A graduate of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema, he gained recognition through a number of film and television projects, including Em gái mưa(2018), Siêu sao siêu ngố (2018), My Dear Assistant (2019), and Song of the South (2023). With Tài (2025), Mai Tai Phen makes his feature film directorial debut, marking a new chapter in his creative journey. The film reflects his interest in emotionally resonant, character-driven stories that are deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture and everyday life.
