The film is set in a remote village in the Northwest highlands, eternally shrouded in thick mist. Two brothers, Con and Duong, embark on a journey to the village to save their mother—a shaman who met with a tragic accident during a ritual to exorcise evil spirits. However, the deeper they venture, the more they are entangled in a series of bizarre events and mysterious deaths. As the name Phi Phong begins to emerge as a haunting obsession, suspicion falls upon Mon and Lua, a mother and daughter who exhibit the exact characteristics of the legend. While investigating the reason behind their mother's failed ritual, Con and Duong uncover a shocking truth: a malevolent entity is exploiting the existence of the Phi Phong to exact a long-standing, vengeful grudge from the past.
